About Us

" Pianology - the study of piano "

Noone was ever born sucessful. Every success needs 150% of hard work + 10% of talent

I believe having grit and 150% of hard work would bring everyone success, based on my own story

                                                                My own story

One of my teachers told me to give up on being a music major for my bachelors degree. I cried that night while eating instant ramen alone.

-- which i did get into the school of music in the University of Washington, after the second audition.

Another teacher told me i could never get into a renowned music school for masters degree since its too competitive.

-- which i did, and completed my masters degree in the Manhattan School of Music in 2014.

It's a long and hard way to achieve the position i am in now, and i am so grateful having supports from good mentors

And now, it is my turn to be the mentor, guiding my students to improve and success in their music journey.
